GIVING –While our ministry, programs and access are very different than a few weeks ago, the life of the church continues, as do our obligations. Our WFUMC family always has been generous with gifts and donations for our church, and to support our local outreach and connectional ministries as well as see to our staff and maintenance costs. Please consider all these needs as you look at your giving plans. You can mail donations to WFUMC, PO Box 36, Mt. Vernon, VA, 22121-0036, or give online. If you have any questions about online giving, please call or email Bob Enck: 571-329-5940, firstname.lastname@example.org
*We have attached the March financial statement to the blast for your information. Thank you for your continued generosity and the ways you make an impact in building the kingdom of God during this time.
April 23 Update from Pastor Christina
*If you are wondering what is going on with the church or how you can help, visit our website: https://washingtonfarmumc.org/latest-news/
We started Wednesday Night Bible Study last night, April 22 on Zoom at 7:00 PM. Our study is based on Margery deVega’s book “Embracing the Uncertain”, six gospel stories that “are signposts in the gospel narrative…pointing us forward to a cross that can show us how to follow Jesus with courage, obedience, and the hope of the resurrection.” Registration for Bible Study Zoom is required. Please go to:
Even if you are already registered with Zoom, you still need to register for this Bible Study at the link provided above. Think about this like knocking on the pastor’s door.
If you or someone in your household becomes ill, please let me know so we can support you. Although we are apart, your wellbeing, both physically and emotionally, is ever on my heart and mind.
