Live streaming links: For 10 AM Sunday Services

We will have our regular Sunday 10 AM On-line service as usual on August 30.

After Labor Day, our evening, in person devotions, will take place on Sunday at 6pm in the parking lot behind the education building. Bring your own chair. If the heat index is over 95 or it is raining, we will cancel.

As of now, if you are inter-acting in a church group, you will need to fill out a simple screening each week. The link is http://doc.vaumc.org/News2020/COVIDHealthFormInstructions.pdf If you do not pre-register, you may be asked to have your temperature checked. A mask is required for all church gatherings on campus and off.

Mondloch House Monthly Sign-Up to Resume in September

  • September 20th
  • October 18th
  • November 15th
  • December 20th
  • January 17th
  • February 14th

Please contact outreach@washingtonfarmumc.org or Nancy in the church office to sign up, admin@washingtonfarmumc.org

Due to COVID concerns the Church Council voted unanimously not to have the Fall Yard Sale. The rational included that we cannot guarantee the cleanliness of donated articles and we cannot maintain the social distancing requirements while sorting, pricing, organizing or displaying the donations.

We are excited to be able to continue our tradition of distributing quality Christmas trees to our community!!! We have 750 Caneen and Frazier fir Christmas trees coming on Saturday, November 21, BEFORE Thanksgiving. The lot will be set up for social distancing and safe donation practices will be in place. This will especially be a season of needing to pull together, to work hard. Having said that, it is a continuation of our congregation’s commitment to bringing the true Christmas Spirit into the homes of all in our community.

GIVING – While our ministry, programs, and access are very different than a few months ago, the ministry and obligations of the church continues. Our WFUMC family always has been generous with their support, understanding both the needs of the church and the ways we support our community at large. Thank you for considering all our needs as you look at your giving plans. Mail donations to WFUMC, PO Box 36, Mt. Vernon, VA, 22121-0036, or give online. If you have any questions, please call or email Bob Enck: 571-329-5940,  enckfamily2010@yahoo.com

Bible Study – We will start up again on September 9th with a study by Justo Gonzalez, “When Christ Lives In Us”. Copies of the student book can be picked up in the office. Register for the link at: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJUqdemprTsvG9IYmb5e6F1kDrPSZh2tf1qI
