*I think it would be safe to say that all of us are ready to put 2020 in our rearview mirrors! However, I have to admit, watching this church pull together, go to online services, figure out new ways to replace the funds that we brought in from our Spring and Fall Yards Sales and to make our Annual Christmas Tree Lot another successful fundraising event which again, brought us together safely with our community. Our Sunday School, Youth groups and UMW have kept going strong meeting in small groups outside. Our Christmas Eve Zoom service was wonderful. There is not another church that could have made that service so successful. I looked at Jeff when it was over and said, “that was so us, the families of Washington Farm!” I am so proud to be a member of this Little Green Church on the Corner!
*All of us on the Staff at Washington Farm UMC want to give a heartfelt thank you to each one of you wonderful individuals for the Love Gifts you shared with all of us this year. It is always a wonderful surprise to get something extra at the end of the year, but I think we all would agree, the best part of the Love Gift is knowing that it came with love and appreciation for what we do here…Thank You and God Bless You All!

*Our regular 10 AM On Line Service will be this Sunday, January 3. We will share in communion together on Sunday during our online service. To participate at the 10:00AM service, please have communion elements of bread or crackers and grape juice ready. It is important to note that communion will be during the live-streamed 10:00AM portion of the service so we are all participating together. If you watch the service at a time other than 10:00AM, you are invited to use the communion portion as a time of thanksgiving for the many blessings in your life.
