WFUMC INFO January 7

*The Staff at Washington Farm wishes everyone a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year!
*The Church Council, at the behest of the Bishop’s office, decided that if the Positivity Rate in VA went over 15%, all Small Groups meeting under the auspices of WFUMC would need to meet outside. We are now over 15%. Small group meetings must be held outside.
WELL WFUMC DID IT ONCE AGAIN –Thanks to the tremendous gift giving of the congregation during the monthly food drives. We averaged $396.05/ month or a total of $4,752.62 for 2020 even considering we were under COVID Restrictions for 9 1/2 months of 2020. We have provided an increase in the approximate value of the food each of the last three years for which I have records.
The total for 2018 was $3,373.99, for 2019 it was $3,862.81 and 2020 it was $4,752.62. Thanks for all of your contributions. Sy Berdux
*Pastor Christina will be on vacation from January 10-16. If you have any pastoral care needs, please contact the church office, 703-780-4696 or Bev Card 703-200-6652.
