We grow in our relationship with God and one another. Time spent in one another’s presence helps us grow in Christ!

Christian education is vital to growth. We have education programs for children, youth and adults, as well as intergenerational education.

We believe it is not just learning that helps us grow. All the moments we spend together as friends in Christ are growth opportunities.

Summer Camps

During the summer, we offer Vacation bible school and Music Camp as ways to grow both in our love of God and also in our love for one another!

United Methodist Women

The United Methodist Women is a ministry that not only offers a growth opportunity, they also serve the church and the community. We have two different circles that meet throughout the year, a morning circle and an afternoon circle. The two circles also meet together regularly to have special programs.

They give money to international programs supported by the national UMW and to local projects close to their hearts. They also provide a scholarship to each graduating high school senior and those in college who needs them.

The scholarship deadline is in May and the link to the application will be found here early in the year.

To allow someone to take care of us and to take care of one another is one of the greatest gifts of the church. We have a deep call to be family in the truest sense of the word and to us that means taking care of one another. We do this in many ways. Some of our formal ministries, of which you can find growth within, are part of our Connectional Care Ministries.

Communications is a new ministry to Washington Farm. We grow when we communicate well together!

On our communication team is Nancy, who prepares our weekly blast. Pastor Christina. Nathan and Braeden who help with audio visual for worship. And Faith who creates our quarterly Sower Newsletter.
