We look forward to this connecting our church family further and helping us care for each other better.

When there's an urgent need, we'll send a prayer chain email as soon as we're able. These may, if requested, include information such as whether the person has an upcoming surgery, has been admitted to the hospital, or has had a loved one pass. We'll also include a list of names of those requesting prayer in the Monthly Gathering newsletter.

To share a prayer request or let us know a need has been resolved, contact Pastor Keiko or Sam with what information you would like included or removed. For private requests, please reach out to Pastor Keiko directly.

Last week, disc golf got rained out. This Sunday we're hoping for sunny skies. SNL will meet at 1 pm at Mansion House (9321 Old Mount Vernon Rd) for an end-of-summer pool party. Bring your suit, towel, and some sunscreen. We've rented the pavilion. Consider bringing $5/person for guest fees. Please let Pastor Keiko or Drew know you will be there so we can add you to the guest list at the door.

Come celebrate all our students, from preschool through adult, along with all teachers and staff, as we look ahead to the year to come. Bring your backpack, laptop bag, or whatever you carry to be blessed during worship. Then stick around to meet our Sunday School teachers and enjoy doughnuts and popsicles on the Friendship Patio.

Last month, Pastor Keiko met a small group at the parsonage to get to know each other better. Choose one of the remaining dates below, then plan to stay after worship and walk over together as we enjoy growing in fellowship.

This Sunday continues our Who We Are To Be series with Part 5: Dos and Don'ts, from Romans 10:5-15. Paul points us to a Savior who is near, "on your lips and in your heart" (Romans 10:8, CEB), and a faith that won't settle for easy. We'll explore the Wesleyan understanding of salvation: the Kingdom of God isn't just a someday promise; it starts here and now.
