Join the worldwide Operation Christmas Child effort by packing a shoebox for a child in need.  This year's collection kicks off October 4. Stop by after worship to pick up a shoebox and packing guide, then return filled boxes by November 15. If you'd like to help beyond packing a box, please get in touch with Anne Smith. This year we celebrate 25 years of Anne and Larry Smith's dedication to this ministry.

Carol McMillan's celebration of life will be held Today, Thursday, October 1, at 1 PM at Washington Farm. Those who knew and loved Carol are invited to gather as we celebrate her life, give thanks for her many years among us, and support her family.

Stewart McKnight is home from the hospital. Please continue to pray for him, Corra, and their family.

As we reflect on Joshua 1:5-9 and Isaiah 58:6-11, we'll discover how God's promise to be with us gives us the courage to lead, serve, and seek justice with faith and hope.
